OPTYGON

Packing station

3D detailed views of individual work areas can already ensure a better understanding between the supplier and customer during the sales phase.

As shown here, 3D visualizations can be used to coordinate various aspects with the customer in advance. In this project, the focus was on the packing table.

Digital mockups are used to identify errors and design weaknesses before they occur.

Served by container conveyor technology, containers can be pulled from the conveyor system by employees at table height. This avoids heavy lifting work for the employee. Empty containers are collected at the lower conveyor level and transported away.

For various packing additions such as VAS (value added services), additional materials can be provided in the static shelves behind the employees.

Essential equipment for the workstation includes scales, a hand scanner, user interface, anti-fatigue mat, ergonomic work table and a printer for shipping labels.

During the pre-foundation phase of Optygon, it was essential to explore the possibilities for creating image and video material and to make various adjustments. These included not only the creation of 3D geometries, but also textures, colour matching and, above all, the lighting of the scene.
